Ans - Some people believing that Nostradamus predicted that doomsday or the end of the world would occur in 2012. However, Nostradamus never mentioned the year 2012. He prophesied great misery when the great cycle of the centuries is renewed. Nostradamus thus did not predict that the world ends on Dec. 21, 2012.
The Mayan calendar ends on that day and then starts over. December 21, 2012 is the end of the Mayan Calendar which supposedly led to believe the end of the world. - Praveenben
