Nostradamus Prophecies- A Complete Text Of All The Quatrains
Nostradamus had written 942 poems, which were known as quatrains. A quatrain is a poem with four lines. Nostradamus organized his poems into Centuries and each century with groups of 100 poems. His quatrains were published first time in the year 1555.
The rhymed quatrains or poems were written mainly in French. He deliberately disguised the quatrains through the use of symbolism as well as the metaphor and this was believed to have been done to avoid his being labelled as a magician.
Most academic sources assert that the correlations made between world events and his quatrains are mostly the result of misinterpretations. Moreover, none of the sources listed offers any evidence that anyone has ever interpreted any of his predictions specifically enough to allow a clear identification of any event in advance.
Nostradamus claimed to base his predictions on astrology but was heavily criticized by professional astrologers of the day. Recent research suggests that much of his prophetic work is no more than mere interpretation of ancient Bible-based end-of-the-world prophecies supplemented with references to historical events.
